Превосходная платформеная игра сделанная Sonic Team выпущенная Sega в 1995 году. Игра повествует о новом герое, похожем на звезду, концепция которого была ещё разработано в тоже время, когда и легендарного Sonic the Hedgehog. Герой не обладает мега скоростью или высокими прыжками, зато он способен вытягивать свои руки на приличное расстояние. На чём и построен весь геймплей игры. Сюжетные же линии расходятся и отличаются у Европейской, США и японской версии. В системе Валди (Valdi) где находится семь планет. Злой пират Кайзер Гриди (Kaiser Greedy) подчинил себе разумы их правителей. Жители планеты Нир (Neer) (в английской версии Флора / Flora) молятся, но зло порабощает и их умы. Но молитвы успевают дойти до богини звёзд Oruto (созвучно с Naruto). Она будит одного из своих сыновей. Что бы тот остановил зло. Это был Японский вариант сюжетной линии игры Ristar: The Shooting Star.
В англоязычной же Ristar отправляется спасать своего отца, легендарного героя защищающего систему Valdi. Он был похищен пиратом Кайзер Гриди.

Excellent platform game the made Sonic Team the published Sega in 1995. The hero doesn't possess mega in the speed or high jumps, but it is capable to extend the hands on decent distance. On what all gameplay of game is constructed. Subject lines disperse and differ at European, the USA and the Japanese version. In Valdi system where there are seven planets. The malicious pirate the Kaiser Greedy subordinated to itself reasons of their governors. Inhabitants of a planet Neer (in the English version Flora) pray, but the evil enthrals also their minds. But prayers manage to reach the goddess of stars of Oruto (conformably with Naruto). It awakes one of the sons. That that would stop the evil. It was the Japanese option of the plot game Ristar: The Shooting Star.
In English-version Ristar goes to rescue the father, the legendary hero protecting Valdi system. He was kidnapped by the pirate the Kaiser Gridi.
The Japanese version of game is called as Ristar: The Shooting Star.
