Это первая серия легендарной трилогии игр Streets of Rage. Преступный синдикат захватывает власть в городе и даже полиция подчиняется ему (кого эти в наше время удивишь), но глава этого синдиката всегда остаётся в тени и не кто не знает кто это. Трое бывших полицейских: Адам Хантер (Adam Hunter), Аксель Стоун (Axel Stone), Блэйз Филдинг (Blaze Fielding), решают раз и навсегда покончить с этим. Они кидают вызов преступному синдикату. Справятся ли они, теперь зависит только от вас.
У персонажей большое разнообразие различных боевых приёмов. Есть возможность подбирать оружие. У каждого из игроков есть возможность вызова специальную атаку. Она нанесёт повреждение всем врагам, находящимся в этот момент на игровом поле.
Так же в игре две концовки хорошая и плохая. Плохая концовка будет в том случае, если один из игроков в конце игры примкнёт к преступному синдикату, а другой игрок проиграет в этой схватки. Эта игра считается одной из лучших игр своего жанра для SMD, рекомендую поиграть.
Так же в Японии эта игра известна под названием Bare Knuckle.

It is the first series of the legendary trilogy of games Streets of Rage. The criminal syndicate seizes power in a city and even the police submits to it, but the head of this syndicate always remains in a shade and not who doesn't know who it. At heroes the big variety of various fighting receptions. There is a possibility to select the weapon. Each of players has a call possibility special attack. It will put damage to all enemies who are during this moment on a game field.
As in game two endings good and bad. The bad ending will be in the event that one of players in the end of game will adjoin criminal syndicate, and other player will lose in this fights. This game is considered one of the best games of the genre for SMD, I recommend.
In Japan this game is known under name Bare Knuckle.
