Данная игра является пиратским хаком (модификацией) пиратской, то есть не лицензированной Sega (Unlicensed), игры Super 1998 Mario 2. Пиратского порта (переноса) игры Super Mario Bros. со сборника игр Super Mario All Stars для игровой приставки Super Nintendo. Особых изменений в игре не много, привычно для пиратов был заменен главный персонаж игры Марио на Голубого Ежа Соника. А точнее по началу на красного, естественного цвета Соник становится, когда берёт гриб. Так же были перерисованы некоторые заставки, в том числе одна заставка взята из игры Sonic Jam для Sega Saturn. Но тут разумеется количество цветов поменьше. В игровой движок игры Марио, не было внесено ни каких особых изменений. По прежнему есть значительные Баги. Это может быть связано с неопытностью Пиратов, делавших эту игру, или с жадностью заказчика. Но всем тем кто когда либо хотели, что бы в мир Марио попал талисман игровой приставки Sega MegaDrive - Sonic. Теперь могут испытать его в шкуре Mario.
