Игра Earnest Evans почти такая же, как и игра Earnest Evans для Sega MegaDrive / Genesis. Это и не удивительно, ведь версия игры для Sega CD появилась раньше, чем для SMD. В версии игры для Sega CD присутствуют ролики и музыкальные треки, записанные на CD. Сюжет игры ни капли не изменился. Эванс (Evans) ищет статуэтки и противостоит злу. Игра является первой в трилогии игр. Позже вышло ещё две игры под названиями El Viento и Anetto Futatabi.
