Игра Puyo Puyo Sun Ketteiban является логическим пазлом. Игра является одной из многочисленной серии игр Puyo Puyo. Игровой процесс остался почти без изменений. Всё такой же весёлый и динамичный. Изменился лишь сюжет. Теперь предстоит наказать одного мальчика-колдуна, который решил эксплуатировать солнце в своих корыстных целях, не подумав о том, что остальным от этого может быть хуже. Хорошая игра рекомендую.

Данная игра слегка напоминает Тетрис, а от первой части отличается новыми персонажами из аниме сериала Aruru Nadja популярного в Японии. А так же различными нововведениями в геймплей игры. Например, Sousai (Garbage Countering) – противодействие, теперь вы можете отражать удары противника, иногда посылая его - Refugee Beans они же Garbage и Ojyama назад ему же.
