Это первое продолжение популярной игры-головоломки Lemmings. Лемминги существа внешне напоминающие Муми-троллей (Mumintrollet, Muumipeikko). Снова Леммингам угрожает опасность, и только талисман (Lemming Talisman) может спасти их. Но этот талисман разбит на 12 частей, и каждый кусок находится у одного из двенадцати племён живущих на острове: Classic, Circus, Cavelem, Shadow, Space, Outdoor, Beach, Sports, Egyptian, Highland, Polar и Medieval.

В реальности леминги это маленький мышеобразный грызун. Но в нашей игре это народ небольшого роста с зелёными волосами, и немного глупый. Они выпадают из своего рода портала. А вы должны помочь им дойти до нужного места, да и ещё, так что бы сохранить определённое количество Lemmings. Задача не простая, учитывая то, что лемминги ведут себя немного не адекватно, прыгают с обрыва и т.п.

Так же можно будит увеличить количество здоровья и силу оружия, найдя на карте соответствующий предмет или сделав нужную покупку в магазине.

Как и подобает скалолазу в игре кое-где придётся карабкаться по скалам, убегать от лавины, перепрыгивать ущелья и т.п.
