Всё благодаря исходному коду (сырец) игры, появившемуся в сети ранее. Его уже, ранее, несколько раз удачно компилировали, и сейчас у вас есть возможность скачать эту игру. У данной игры непростая история изначально это должна была быть игра Timet: the Flying Squirrel про белку-летуна.

Это связано с тем, что изначально данная игра называлась не Mr. Nutz: Hoppin' Mad, а Timet: the Flying Squirrel группой разработчиков называемых KAIKO позднее переименованных в Neon Studios. Они, вдохновившись такими хитами как Sonic The Hedgehog и Zool, решили сделать свою игру на Amiga по геймплею похожую на эти игры жанра Jump 'n Run.
