Порт Super Mario Bros. осуществил Mairtrus, для этого он написал специальный автоматический конвертер (automatic conversor) который преобразовал команды процессора NES 6502 в команды понятные процессору SMD M68K (Motorola 68000). Фактически Mairtrus создал эмулятор NES to SMD. Конечно кое-что ему пришлось писать ручками, например обработку PPU NES. Игра не чуть не потеряла в скорости, что говорит о хорошей оптимизации. Единственное что немного подводит так это музыка. Думаю о самой игре Супер Братья Марио (Super Mario Bros.) не стоит рассказывать, все и так всё знаю. Хотя на всякий случай скажу пару слов. В игре вам предстоит играть Марио (Mario) или Луиджи (Luigi) в зависимости от выбранного режима игры. Главная цель освободить принцессу. По пути предстоит собирать монеты и грибы, какие позволяют герою вырасти и разбивать кирпичи.
Так же игра известна под такими названиями: SMB4MD, Super Mario Bros. for MegaDrive, Super Mario Brothers.
